TURF & SURF
Meets at Main Street Recreation Center
Age: 10-14
Gear up for the best on-the-road biking camp around! Each morning
you’ll hit the turf with your bike and visit a local destination for a fun
field trip or outdoor adventure. In the afternoon, you’ll bike to Sunset
Park for lunch, followed by swimming at Sunset Pool. Participants are
required to bike in adverse weather conditions from time-to-time.
Registration closes each Friday at 1pm for the following week of

Age: 10-14
This camp is recommended for campers who have completed
Introduction to Turf & Surf or previous summers of Turf & Surf camp.
This on the road experience combines fun activities and field trips while
biking at a brisker pace and to further destinations. Campers should
have a basic understanding of bike safety and rules of the road. Riders
will be expected to travel up to 6 miles one way to reach their daily
destination. Five classes per session.
NO CLASS: 7/4
AGE: 10-12
EQUIPMENT: All campers are required to have a bike, bike lock,
helmet, water bottle and backpack. Participants will not be allowed
to bike without a helmet. Participants need to bring sack lunches and
snacks every day. (jm)
Introduction to Turf & Surf
Meets at Main Street Recreation Center
Age: 10-14
Introduction to Turf & Surf offers an opportunity to explore local parks
and outside activities while learning about bike safety and rules of the
road. In this course, campers will enjoy the freedom of jumping on
their bikes with their friends and counselors and heading out to local
destinations, 3-5 miles in distance one way, at a casual pace. This
program combines education and hands-on experience to prepare you
for future weeks in Turf & Surf camp. Min/Max: 6/14.
