SUMMER CAMPS
Saturday Parent/Child Tennis Tennis and Swim Camp
Held at Memorial Park Held at Sunset Park & Sunset Pool
Age: 5-10
This parent/child tennis class is a great opportunity to learn tennis
together in a fun environment. All ability levels welcome. The class will
focus on learning the game in a unique and friendly environment. Fee is
per parent/child couple. Session ages are based on the child’s age. Min/
Max: 4/12. (ke) Age: 6-12
Come out and enjoy the perfect environment to learn and play the
sport of tennis. The tennis staff will ensure that your child is placed in
the appropriate age group based on their age and skill level. After an
hour of tennis, a break for snack (players must bring their own snack)
followed by a quick swim at Sunset Pool and then an hour of tennis
games to end the camp. Tennis camp instructors will remain with the
participants throughout the various camp activities. Please bring a
tennis racquet, swim suit and towel to the camp. (ke)

Junior Competitive
Held at Memorial Park
Age: 11-17
This program is offered for beginner through intermediate players who
are looking for a summer-long experience at learning and improving
their tennis skills. Players will achieve success as they progress through
a series of game-based drills. Players will be instructed in game
strategy, while also focusing on improvement on form, footwork and
sportsmanship. There will be opportunities to play other tennis clubs in
the area on Fridays. This program will be taught by Mark Cunnington,
Glen Ellyn Park District tennis professional, Glenbard West Girls coach
Kevin Graham, and Glenbard West Boys coach Tad Keely. Min: 3. (ke)

This class is designed for the beginner through intermediate level tennis
player. The program will focus on developing consistency and control
in your game while learning singles and doubles strategies. The class
will include drills and point play in a relaxed and friendly environment.
