Ackerman SFC 50+ FREE GROUP FITNESS CLASSES EACH WEEK FOR MEMBERS: BODYPUMP™: This 60-minute workout challenges all your muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. BOOT CAMP: Military-inspired workouts built on 3 fundamentals of training: cardio, strength, and agility. CARDIO STRENGTH: This class incorporates a cardiovascular workout with interval, strength, & resistance training. CHAIR YOGA: A gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using the chair for support. Ideal for those that lack the mobility to move easily during standing poses. HARD CORE: This 30 minute class will strengthen every muscle group in your core. PILATES: Work the CORE from the inside out with a deep emphasis on abdominals, obliques, and glutes. POWER YOGA: Power Yoga is a fast paced combination of cardio & vinyasa flow. • Ackerman SFC Ackerman SFC • OPEN GYM & TURF When the turf and gym are not in use, members may use these areas at their leisure. Don’t forget to bring your school ID to receive the resident rate! WALKING TRACK Ages 8-13 must be accompanied by a member age 18+ to use the walking track. The walking track is free for Ackerman SFC members. DAILY DROP-IN FEE & ANNUAL PASSES Note: Annual passes are limited to Glen Ellyn Park District residents only. SPIN: Studio Cycle classes will burn a ton of calories, increase lower body strength and improve your cardiovascular endurance. WERQ up a sweat on the dance floor to all your favorite hits. YOGALATES: Yogalates is a fusion of two proven practices, Yoga and Pilates. ZUMBA: A mix of low-intensity and high- intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie- burning dance fitness party. View the schedule online at 98 FIT & PLAY CHILD CARE AGE: 6 MONTHS TO 10 YEARS Our caring and qualified staff will watch over your children while you take a fitness class, workout in the fitness center, or just need a few minutes to yourself to shoot hoops or climb Ackerman Alps! There is a 2-hour maximum per day and the member must remain in the facility at all times. For safety and cleanliness purposes, no outside drinks, food, or toys are allowed.
