Martial Arts TAE KWON DO Held at Spring Avenue Recreation Center Instructor: KH Kim Tae Kwon Do Min/Max: 4/12 Little Dragons Age: 4-6 This introductory class is designed to cap- tivate the interest of our youngest students. Skills are developed through gentle instruc- tion and appropriate games for their ability. This class focuses on developing balance, coordination, and respect for the discipline of martial arts training. Early & Youth Age: 7-13 Early Tae Kwon Do: Designed especially for the younger children of 6-7 years, this program helps kids develop conditioning, coordination, listening skills, and self-confi- dence through creative activities. Youth Tae Kwon Do: This program in- cludes a balanced cardiovascular workout, including punching, kicking, and blocking skills, using the Tae Kwon Do tradition, and self control. Participants will improve coor- dination, power of concentration, balance, and both physical and mental discipline. Parent/Child Age: 7+ with Parent This class provides families with a fun opportunity to spend time together while improving physical and mental conditioning through cardiovascular drills, calisthenics, and traditional Tae Kwon Do techniques including punching, kicking and blocking. Fee is listed per person. Adult Age: High School or Older Restricted to high school students and old- er, this program concentrates on Tae Kwon Do technique through the study of forms, stances, and the skills of punching, kicking, and blocking. Uniform Fee: $45 (not included in registration fee, due at first class). Colored belt students are required to have complete sparring gear.
