We will learn how to use different cooking equipment and techniques, explore flavor pairing, and create tasty mouthwatering recipes from scratch each day. Instructor: Sticky Fingers Cooking. [JM] Held at Spring Avenue Recreation Center Habitat Heroes Camp Grade: 4-6 We are building on our nature camps to offer this TAKE ACTION opportunity for older kids. Campers will learn how we can make small improvements to our parks and yards that benefit wildlife. During the week, projects will include planting native flowers and trees, removing invasive plants, and clean-ups. Campers will also bring home a selection of native plant plugs that attract pollinators, make a toad- house and decorate a bird/insect water dish. Min/Max: 8/14.
