Carve A Pumpkin!
Pumpkins on the Green
Age: All
The 18th Green at Holes & Knolls Miniature Golf Course will be converted into a
pumpkin patch during the last two weekends in October! Come for lunch or dinner,
play some golf, and then pick out your own pumpkin from our “Pumpkins on the
Green”! You can also carve your pumpkin on the patio before you leave. We will supply
the safety tools. Pumpkins range from $3-$12. [MD]

Pumpkin Flotilla Fest
Age: All
Fall is a wonderful time to visit Lake Ellyn Park! Bring your carved pumpkin and be part
of our 2nd annual Pumpkin Flotilla on the lake. Enjoy live entertainment with Jeanie
B! and the Jelly Beans, activities and games throughout the park, a pumpkin carving
demonstration, trackless train rides, bounce houses, and of course, we’ll end the
evening with our lit Pumpkin Flotilla on the lake at dusk! Participation in the event is
FREE. If you would like to submit your carved pumpkin to be part of the Flotilla, please
register online. You can even carve a pumpkin at the event (see details below). [JR]

PUMPKIN FLOTILLA GUIDELINES
Limit 50 Pumpkins
Bring a pumpkin that weighs about 8 lbs. after it’s gutted and carved (about the size
of a soccer ball). All pumpkins must have the tops. Mini or extra-large pumpkins and
Jack-o-lanterns with any artificial embellishments (paint, glitter, glue, marker, etc.)
cannot participate in the Flotilla. A light and a floating device will be provided at check-
in. Drop your pumpkin off at the check-in area by the boat launch by 5:30pm. Please
note: pumpkins will not be returned. REGISTRATION CODE: 112702
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Available for purchase in the Boathouse. Provided by the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn.
CARVE YOUR PUMPKIN AT THE EVENT!
Didn’t have a chance to carve a pumpkin at home and enter it into the Flotilla? Now
you can carve a pumpkin at the event! A limited number of pumpkins will be available
at the event for $5 each, with carving supplies. When you’re finished, enter your
creation in the Flotilla, or take it home to keep.
