This interactive class focuses on thinking safely and making safe
choices. Kids learn what to do in an emergency, when to call 911,
and how to deal with strangers. Completion certificates are awarded.

Safety Village Fall Fun
Safe Kids with First Aid
Age: 3-5
Safety and First Aid go hand in hand! Children learn simple rules to
think safely and make safe choices at home and away. We also present
basic First Aid information, including treatment of small cuts, bumps
and bruises, nosebleeds, minor burns and more. Each child receives a
safety packet and creates a small first aid kit to take home. Completion

Don’t put your bikes away just yet, there’s still time to learn how to be
safe on the street! Join us for Safety Village Fall Fun, where each week
we’ll learn about a different safety topic including fire safety, 9-1-1,
railroad safety, community helpers in our neighborhoods, and much
more. We’ll make safety-themed projects, and spend time practicing
bike and street safety in the outdoor learning area – making sure to
follow street signs and observe railroad crossings along the way. Be
sure to dress for the weather - we will practice outdoors on trikes,
weather permitting. Participants must bring a safety helmet to each

Safety Village Sunday
Age: 4-7
Get to know your “Rules of the Road” in our Safety Village Sundays
class. Each week we will cover a new topic regarding basic safety on
the road and in the home. Activities include crafts, games, stories, and
of course, time outside on our Safety Village roads! This is the perfect
class for new students or alumni of the Safety Village program. Sign
up for one or all three of the topics listed. Outdoor practice will be
weather permitting, and all participants must bring a safety helmet to

Safety Village Winter Wonderland
Age: 4-7
It may be cold outside, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still learn how
to be safe! Join us for Safety Village Winter Wonderland where we’ll
review holiday safety, fire safety, 9-1-1, and community helpers in our
neighborhoods. We’ll make a winter-themed project, and take a walk
through Safety Village – making sure to obey stop signs, street signs
and railroad crossings along the way. Be sure to dress for the weather -
part of this event may take place outdoors in the Safety Village learning
area (weather permitting). Min/Max: 10/15. [JR]
