Weekend Horse Riding
Most boys in today’s society will never get a
chance to ride a horse, but CPC Scouts
can—thanks to a horseback riding program
unique to Butte Creek Scout Ranch. Allow
our weekend wranglers—experienced
riders—to introduce your Webelos II Scouts
to horsemanship on a half-day or full-day
horseback ride. Your Scouts will get basic
instruction and demonstration before the
group departs for a ride through forested
areas surrounding the homestead. Throw in
on-site camping, and you’ve got a
memorable weekend activity.
