their unit activities as long as they have
Range Safety Officers and instructors. Your
council’s Shooting Sports Committee puts on
trainings throughout the year.

SOLVE Service
Cascade Pacific Council partners with
SOLVE to bring Scouts the opportunity to
participate in community service projects.
Participate in preorganized service days or
create your own event through one of the
SOLVE programs. SOLVE provides free
cleanup supplies, small grants, advice, and
support.

Super Weekends
Bring your troop to an organized program
weekend at Camp Meriwether! It’s a mini-
summer camp: program areas such as the
rifle ranges, climbing tower, nature center,
and camp craft are ran by many of the fine
camp staffers you remember from summer
camp. Programs vary from event to event.

Cascade Pacific Council to offer great
nights of basketball at great “Scout” pricing.

Sisters Camp
Girls that attend Sisters’ Camp get to do all
the fun stuff that the boys do, from crafts and
games to BB-guns and archery. At Butte
Creek, they may be panning for gold,
learning to rope a steer, or fishing. At Camp
Clark, they can learn all about Native
American history by making pottery, cooking
in a clay oven, or playing on the beach.

University of Scouting
(For Leaders And Parents)
University of Scouting is a one-day adult
conference full of tips, tricks, and training for
adults involved in any Scouting program
such as Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity,
and Venturing. Previously this was Cub
Scout focused, but now it’s all inclusive!
EVERY leader will leave inspired and
armed with new ideas from fellow adult
Scouters. You choose the sessions and
topics that interest you, and learn from
volunteers exper ienced in those subject
areas.
