Cub Scout Summer Camp
Which camp is best for my Cub Scout?
We’ve designed our many Cub Scout camps to serve boys of all ages and
stages. Day camps offer a great entry-level experience for all campers, espec
and often these boys can attend two camps during the summer, one-day camp
and one overnight camp.
Our overnight camps are designed to be a progression for age groups and
abilities. Butte Creek is recommended for Wolves and Bears. Butte Creek is a
western-themed overnight camp that will intrigue the imaginations of our
younger Cub Scouts. Camp Clark is a Webelos camp for boys entering the 4th
and 5th grades and has a Lewis and Clark expedition theme.
Cub Scout Overnight Camp: Camp
Clark
Camp Clark is a unique camp with
special programming for Webelos,
giving them a full week of camping and
a great preparation to their next
adventure: Boy Scouts! Activities and
learning stations at this camp are
designed to help the Webelos
understand how a Boy Scout troop works. There’s even a hike to next-door
Camp Meriwether and a fun tour of all the older-boy activities that he’ll enjoy as
a Boy Scout.
Wake up each day to an ocean breeze, discover sea urchins, starfish and sand
dollars on the beach in our tidal pools, learn pioneering ways of blacksmithing,
weaving, and candle making in our Frontier Village. Participate in an inspiring
bonfire on the beach at night.
Camp Clark is to debut a new Bike program, along with a returning camper
program for those who come more than one year.
Camp Clark is located just south of Cape Lookout, near Tillamook on the
Oregon Coast. Scouts and leaders camp in group campsites complete with
three-sided shelters or platform tents. Meals are served family style in a
modern dining hall overlooking Cape Lookout and the secluded beach below.
