Paul William Walker was born in Glendale, California, and his mother was a fashion model called Cherly. His father was a sewer contractor.
Paul is mostly English, and some German, Swiss, and Irish. He has got two younger brothers. Their names are Caleb and Cody and a sister called Ashlie. Walker was raised primarily in the Sunland community of Los Angeles and attended Foreman High School. He graduated in 1991 then he attended several community colleges in Southern California majoring in Marine Biology.
Walker began his screen career when he was a toddler. He starred in a television commercial for Pampers. He began modeling at the age of two and began working on television shows in 1985, with roles in shows such as Who is the Boss ?, The Young and the Restless. Walker's film career began in 1986, with the horror/ comedy film Monster in the Closet. He appeared in The Retailiator which is a low budget cyborg action film in 1987 . In 1993 he played Brandon Collins on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless . He was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor at the Youth in Film Awards. He made his feature film debut in the comedy Meet the Deedles and after this film he gained his fame. After that he appeared in supporting roles in the movies Pleasantville (1998),Varsity Blues (1999), She's all That(1999)
In 2001, Walker acted in a movie and it was a breakthrough role for him. He starred opposite actor Vin Diesel in the successful action film The Fast and the Furious, He continued his career with leading roles in films such as Joy Ride (2001), Into the Blue (2005), and Timeline (2003) then he starred in the crime thriller Running Scared and Eight Below. Eight Below became very successful and it made US$20 million during its first weekend .
