Mashup Table

Those who came to France in March 2016 know what a Mashup Table is. If you have never used it and if you don't know what I'm talking about, let me explain what this new cinematic device is about.

It is about editing images and sounds from diverse sources which are copied, stuck, cut, transformed, mixed, assembled to create a new piece of work.

The Mashup Table is an interractive and electronic table which allows fast and easy editing.

To use this kind of editing, you must put some interracting cards on it, each card corresponds to one shot (which is already programmed). When you use this card the shot appears on the screen. Then you must organize your cards in the right order to make a short movie. In addition to the picture cards, you can add music and sound effects where you want.

To conclude, this table is a good way to have fun and also make a short montage very fast.

Unfortunately, the history of the mashup table is still mysterious it was created by Romuald Beugnon in 2011 who is a French director and ingeneer.
