QUIZ SECTION An Asymptomatic Verrucous Nodule on the Scrotum: A Quiz Yue-Tong QIAN, Jia-Wei LIU, Wei LIU and Dong-Lai MA* Department of Dermatology, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, Beijing 100730, PR China. *E-mail: [email protected] A 27-year-old man presented to the dermatology clinic with an 8-year history of a pedunculated, rubbery soft, pink nodule, 10 mm in diameter, with a verrucous surface, protruding from the right side of the scrotum (Fig. 1). It was first noticed as an asymptomatic small papule and gradu- ally developed in size. He had no known history of sexual transmitted infections or prior genital lesions. The patient’s fasting serum lipid profile was within normal limits. An aceto-whitening test was negative. The patient received a shave biopsy for histopathological analysis (Fig. 2) and im- munohistochemical staining.
