All our trainees and NQTs are assigned a professional learning coach from one of our expert classroom practitioners so that they can receive first class guidance.
Staff can meet to enjoy a highly inspirational TED Talk, over lunchtime, every fortnight. Each time there is providing opportunity for discussion and reflection.
Techie Brekkies
flipped learning
We deliver all of our professional development sessions in a ‘flipped learning’ style. This involves staff having access to a pre-prepared video content prior to the sessions.
Fortnightly ‘Techie Brekkies’ deliver a short practical session before school where staff introduce a new app or programme that they have found and share the benefits with other staff.
Digital Badges
Geek of the week
Every week we award our ‘Geek of the Week’ trophy to a member of staff who has done something amazing and who should be recognised for their achievements.
As a mark of recognition for attending one of our AGS Inspire sessions, you'll receive a digital badge which can be used as evidence of your ongoing professional development.
