Welcome from the Chairman of Governors
It gives me great pleasure to present to you the School Prospectus for Acklam Grange School for 2017-2018. Included in this
Prospectus you will find information about life at the school. Statutory information, details about the Governing Body, how the school
is managed and general information can be found on our school website, along with 2016-2017 examination results.
The school provides a welcoming environment for all to work in, staff and students alike. Should parents have any concerns about their
child’s education, they can contact the school to make an appointment to see the appropriate member of staff. Acklam Grange School
consists of many parts which come together to provide a quality education and continuous personal development – the bedrock on
which students can build their future.
The Headteacher and his staff are accountable for the fostering of a
learning environment where students can extend their academic
achievement and also find the important spiritual, moral, social and
cultural guidance which will prepare them to find their place in life.
The Governing Body is equally accountable for its work in monitoring the
strategic direction of the school and tracking its academic performance.
