they came across a house...a
dark, scary, decomposing house
composed of mold (probably
termites from the looks of it), but
the door and windows were
perfectly fine even though the
house itself was rotting from the
floor up!
¨Sh-sh-should we g-go
in?¨asked Lisa ¨I've been through
these woods like a thousand
times and I've never seen this
house here!¨
Maybe we just went the
wrong way.¨reassured Sam, ¨we
can just go back,or do u want to
go in?¨
They scoped out the
house and their surroundings so
that no one was looking and
suddenly Lisa screamed.
¨AAAAHHHH!!!¨ screamed
Lisa. Sam came running over
¨LISA! What's wong?¨
exclaimed Sam
¨There's a spider!¨Cried
Lisa.
They got back to the front
of the house and ¨FWOOSH¨ the
door swung open showing the
inside of the house. The inside
didn't even look bad. It was as if it
was some sort of trick! They
stepped into the house and then
a ¨CRASH¨ sounded throughout
the whole house. Then a loud
¨CLICK¨ followed the crash of the
door! They struggled to get the
door open. They also tried the
windows, but it was no use: they
7
were indestructible. They even
tried to break the door and all the
windows they could find, but it
was no use.
¨I´m going to check out the
house. You stay here!¨ exclaimed
Sam.
¨But what if something
happens to you?¨asked Lisa.
¨What will happen to me ?¨
Sam.
You'll be fine.¨ reassured
And with those last words Sam
left leaving Lisa all by herself. Hours
went by. First one hour. Then two hours.
Then three hours. Lisa was truly by
herself. She started to wander around
the house looking for Sam when she
stumbled across a latch in the wall. She
opened it and saw a room with lots of
things. She could only see the outlines,
but knew there were lots of things in
there. Then, the room turned into a corn
maze. With lots of corn believe it or not,
and every way she turned and went to it
was all dead ends. Finally, she started
crying.
¨I want to go home. I'm sick of
this. It's all dead ends. I love a good
maze as much as anyone else, but it’s
all dead ends. Just let me go HOME
please!¨cried Lisa
However, now she was back in
the house, but not her house. She was in
the house she ran up to where she saw
the hatch in the wall, but it was gone
and she was very scared at this point.
Then, she walked down the stairs again
