nothing​ ​ else​ ​ to​ ​ do​ ​ now​ ​ do
you?”Cameron​ ​ replied​ ​ calmly​ ​ as​ ​ Kyle
came​ ​ over.
“Hey​ ​ girlies​ ​ are​ ​ y’all​ ​ going​ ​ to​ ​ the​ ​ scary
party​ ​ tonight?”Kyle​ ​ said.
“Yeah​ ​ we​ ​ are!”Cameron​ ​ said​ ​ as​ ​ she
looked​ ​ at​ ​ Lola​ ​ with​ ​ a ​ ​ “just​ ​ go​ ​ with​ ​ it
face”​ ​ but​ ​ she​ ​ didn't​ ​ go​ ​ with​ ​ it​ ​ instead
she​ ​ said”I'm​ ​ not​ ​ going.”
“Why​ ​ not?”Kyle​ ​ asked.
“Well​ ​ ​ I ​ ​ don't​ ​ have​ ​ a ​ ​ scary​ ​ costume​ ​ for​ ​ a
scary​ ​ party.”Lola​ ​ argued.
“Maybe​ ​ we​ ​ get​ ​ ​ the​ ​ gang​ ​ together​ ​ and
go​ ​ to​ ​ the​ ​ old​ ​ theater​ ​ and​ ​ ​ get​ ​ some
scary​ ​ costumes”Kyle​ ​ said​ ​ as​ ​ the
twins,Kylie​ ​ and​ ​ Riley,came​ ​ over.
“Hey​ ​ Kyleee!”the​ ​ girls​ ​ said​ ​ knowing​ ​ it
would​ ​ irk​ ​ Cameron​ ​ so​ ​ much.
“Hey​ ​ let's​ ​ go​ ​ to​ ​ that​ ​ old​ ​ theater​ ​ on
Elmore​ ​ Street!”Kyle​ ​ suggested​ ​ as​ ​ the
girls​ ​ traded​ ​ mean​ ​ faces!
“Sorry​ ​ Kyle​ ​ I ​ ​ don't​ ​ think​ ​ we​ ​ can​ ​ make
it!”Riley​ ​ said​ ​ looking​ ​ him​ ​ in​ ​ the​ ​ eyes.
“We​ ​ won't​ ​ miss​ ​ you!”Cameron​ ​ snickered
as​ ​ they​ ​ descended​ ​ away.
“Do​ ​ you​ ​ always​ ​ have​ ​ to​ ​ be​ ​ mean?”Lola
said​ ​ as​ ​ she​ ​ walked​ ​ away.Later​ ​ that
evening​ ​ as​ ​ the​ ​ moon​ ​ rose​ ​ upon​ ​ the​ ​ sun
it​ ​ became​ ​ chilly​ ​ and​ ​ spooky!​ ​ Should​ ​ the
friends​ ​ walk​ ​ to​ ​ Elmore​ ​ Street​ ​ on​ ​ Friday
the​ ​ thirteenth?
As​ ​ the​ ​ kids​ ​ walked​ ​ up​ ​ to​ ​ the​ ​ street​ ​ they
heard​ ​ a ​ ​ rolling​ ​ of​ ​ thunder.”When​ ​ we​ ​ are
done​ ​ I'm​ ​ going​ ​ to​ ​ call​ ​ a ​ ​ taxi​ ​ to​ ​ pick​ ​ us
up.”Kyle​ ​ said​ ​ as​ ​ a ​ ​ random​ ​ person​ ​ put
their​ ​ hands​ ​ over​ ​ his​ ​ eyes.
“Guess​ ​ who?”​ ​ said​ ​ Rylie.

“Kylie?”​ ​ he​ ​ replied​ ​ as​ ​ he​ ​ moved​ ​ forward
to​ ​ see​ ​ that​ ​ it​ ​ was​ ​ Rylie,​ ​ Kylie​ ​ and
Charlie.Nobody​ ​ in​ ​ the​ ​ group​ ​ liked
Charlie​ ​ besides​ ​ Lola​ ​ and​ ​ the​ ​ girls​ ​ knew
it.
“Hey​ ​ Charlie!”Lolo​ ​ said​ ​ as​ ​ she​ ​ gave​ ​ him
a​ ​ hug​ ​ and​ ​ smiled.
“Lets​ ​ go​ ​ love​ ​ bugs!”​ ​ Rylie​ ​ said​ ​ grabbing
Charlie’s​ ​ ​ hand​ ​ and​ ​ walking​ ​ up​ ​ to
“Elmore’s​ ​ Theater”.Cameron​ ​ pushed
open​ ​ the​ ​ door.​ ​ As​ ​ the​ ​ friends​ ​ walked​ ​ in,
the​ ​ lights​ ​ were​ ​ ​ on​ ​ .A​ ​ crackle​ ​ of​ ​ thunder
sounded​ ​ as​ ​ they​ ​ entered​ ​ the​ ​ lobby.
“Legend​ ​ has​ ​ it​ ​ that​ ​ this​ ​ place​ ​ is​ ​ haunted
with​ ​ Mr.​ ​ Elmore's​ ​ ​ ghost!”​ ​ Kylie​ ​ said​ ​ as​ ​ a
shiver​ ​ went​ ​ down​ ​ Lola’s​ ​ spine.Lolo
dogged​ ​ to​ ​ the​ ​ door​ ​ but​ ​ Charlie​ ​ grabbed
her​ ​ back​ ​ and​ ​ said​ ​ “I​ ​ got​ ​ you​ ​ I ​ ​ won’t​ ​ let
nothing​ ​ hurt​ ​ you…

graveyard

One​ ​ night​ ​ I ​ ​ was​ ​ going​ ​ from​ ​ one​ ​ house
to​ ​ another,​ ​ but​ ​ then
I​ ​ heard​ ​ someone​ ​ say​ ​ “don’t​ ​ go​ ​ into​ ​ the
graveyard!!!”​ ​ I ​ ​ thought​ ​ he​ ​ was​ ​ joking,so
after​ ​ I ​ ​ went​ ​ to​ ​ all​ ​ the​ ​ houses​ ​ I ​ ​ went​ ​ to
the​ ​ graveyard.​ ​ ​ It​ ​ was​ ​ spooky,​ ​ but​ ​ it​ ​ was
totally​ ​ worth​ ​ it.​ ​ Then​ ​ I ​ ​ heard​ ​ a ​ ​ strange
noise​ ​ coming​ ​ from​ ​ a ​ ​ bush​ ​ and​ ​ said
“Who​ ​ is​ ​ there?!?”​ ​ And​ ​ out​ ​ of​ ​ the​ ​ blue​ ​ a
ghost​ ​ appeared​ ​ and​ ​ said​ ​ “ ​ Boo!!!!​ ” ​ ​ I
