the last ten years has been an amazing
experience, stand out moments have
been developing a festival from the ground up
with Farr Festival to delivering a successful first
year of All Points East at Victoria Park in May.
The main project I have been working on for
the last twelve months has been APE, we have
some big plans in place for 2019 and I am excited
to see the festival develop. The future is bright
for festivals, I think you will see the quality of
productions only improve, the customer demand
for high level experiences only ever get more
demanding.”

Festival and Movement Torino
Festival
Verdun has played a key role at Turin’s biggest
festival. The FuturFestival was founded in 2009
to commemorate the centenary of Futurism at
the Lingotto Fiere , the organisation is called
to collaborate with the municipality for the
celebrations of New Year ‘s Eve 2010 and the
celebration of the victory of Turin European
Youth Capital [1] . The event will be held in
Piazza Vittorio Veneto , with flagship guests
Groove Armada and Juliette Lewis ; public
participation was quantified in about 7000
participants. The following year the festival will be
repeated, again at the Lingotto, on December 7,
with the participation of theBloody Beetroots and
drummer Tommy Lee . After a year of break the
concept of the festival is revolutionized, turning
it into an outdoor day electronic music festival ;
the same year begins the collaboration with the
Kappa clothing company from Turin . The first
Kappa FuturFestival, organized according to the
new concept, was held on June 30th and July 1st
at the Parco Dora ; main guests of the event were
DJs Deadmau5 , Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim .

Reason for nomination: He is a hard working,
positive solution finder always coming up with
alternative ways to make our project more exciting
and easier to deliver.
We have work with Ash on several occasions
however he stood out the most on a particularly
challenging job for Bridgestone in Monaco and
Nice. Working tirelessly night after night with
the producer and client in order to create the best
possible show for the following days.
He is a rare find, one we are not willing to let
go.
In five years time I will be... “Working with
people I love, producing memorable experiences,
and making positive contributions to the
industry’s environment and sustainability. I’d also
like to be sat on a beach.”
