NOVEMBER 2018 | THIRTY The thirty Danny Love, AEG Presents Stephanie Nicola-Miller Printworks Nomination comment: Mosley has been instrumental at Networks, which is an innovative provider of creative, 3-dimensional, construction and display solutions within the exhibition, event, museum and visual arts industries. The company carries out a diverse range of projects from permanent award winning museum displays, TV and theatre scenery, roadshows, corporate trade stands at national and international exhibitions, through to interiors and exteriors for VIP hospitality suites at major sporting events. Its extensive manufacturing and storage facility houses joinery, scenic artists, metal fabrication, graphics, electricians and fleet of vehicles for installations throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. A career highlight for me would be our recent event with Smirnoff for their #EqualisingMusic campaign, which is a global initiative to tackle the gender gap in electronic music. A panel of ambassadors (including The Black Madonna and Honey Dijon) selected a group of female-identifying aspiring artists to mentor and ultimately perform with at Printworks. It was the first event of its kind to take place in a music venue, and I was honoured to be a part of it. The atmosphere at the show was one of the best I have ever experienced, with positivity reaching all corners of the venue. Seeing thousands of people having the time of their lives and knowing you’re part of the cause is truly one of the most rewarding feelings in the world – it’s the main reason I love doing what I do.” Nomination comment: Danny has worked at AEG Presents for just under two years and has worked hard to refine and develop both wider company and internal departmental processes. Within the ticketing team, Danny has pinpointed areas within daily tasks which can be streamlined to maximise the output from the team and maximise the time spent on delivering quality of work, without being distracted by quantity. Danny developed a group sharing process which provides transparency across all team members allowing everyone to ticket across all shows, minimising the risk of absence or illness on an event. Danny has also worked hard to fine tune the new internal ticketing systems’ which automates a large amount of the repetitive tasks, with the end game of completely disposing of the need for internal spreadsheets. In January 2018, Danny extended his repertoire to take on daily management of the touring ticketing team providing support and guidance on their shows whilst also ticketing various tours himself. These include but are certainly not limited to; three sold out Ed Sheeran stadium shows, Justin Bieber in the Principality stadium in Cardiff, and multiple arena tours.
