Turin is the capital of the Piedmont region of northwest Italy , where excellence is measured in sports cars , chocolate and fine cuisine . CinemAmbiente - Environmental Film Festival : CinemAmbiente was born in Turin in 1998 with the aim to increase the culture of environment through cinema . September
MITO Settembre Musica : a rich program that , maintaining the preponderance of classical and contemporary music , spaces through jazz , testing , ethnic music and much more . The excellence of the “ classical ” appointments is guaranteed by great names . The International Festival of Music , of which it is part , takes place in Milan and Turin .
Turin International Street Theatre Festival : Turin hosts a week full of live performances and events in the streets of the city , where visitors will have the chance to marvel at the fantastic and colourful world of street artists . October Salone del Gusto ( Showroom of Taste ): This event is an original event promoted by Regione Piemonte and Slow Food , but also a cultural challenge : it contributes to the image creation of rich territories endowed with 121,000 farmings , zoo technical and forest businesses , 55 % of which located on mountains and hills .
Ivrea Carnival and Orange battle : Every year , among history , oranges and traditions , the famous Historical Carnival takes place is Ivrea . It is the most ancient Carnival in the world : it tells a very old and real story that has brave kings of castles and saver plebeian as protagonists . November Artissima ARTISSIMA - International Fair of Contemporary Art : This important cultural fair dedicated to visual arts takes place every year in November in the city of Turin . A not-to-be-missed event for all contemporary art addicts .

Access at Kappa FuturFestival 2018
From 7-8 July Access attended electronic music festival Kappa Futur , which takes place at a grandiose industrial setting , the Parco Dora .
The event was a feast of techno and house music , with some of the world ’ s most prominent DJs including Adam Beyer , Joseph Capriati , Solomun , Derrick May , Ilario Alicante , Luciano and Marco Carola .
The venue ’ s surroundings feature hangouts including tree lined areas and stalls serving predictably excellent Italian food .
This year , the site expanded from 45,000sqm to 65,000sqm , with more than 50,000 visitors .
The festival participates in a prominent research project for the development of IoT technologies that will allow a more efficient management of public order and acoustic impact called MONICA . It involves a consortium of 28 partners from all around Europe among which are Istituto Boella , founded by Compagnia di

San Paolo and Politecnico di Torino , Telecom Italia and the Municipality of Torino .
The project is cofunded by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation , and aims to provide a very large scale demonstration of multiple existing and new Internet of Things technologies for Smarter Living .
Once again in 2018 , a cashless system was available with a loyalty that you can top up by cash or credit card and pay for all consumables at the festival .
For the first time it will be possible to use the cards distributed over the last two years and for registered users many prizes and free credit is also up for grabs .
In terms of ticketing , a brand new partnership has been formed with Platinium Group , Formula1 and MotoGP official ticketing platform that will ensure a quicker and easier purchase process , which will ultimately lead to a better customer experience .
