About Bread for the World 40th Anniversary Commemorative Book | Page 29
Marvin Garcia Salas was once an undocumented immigrant in the
United States, where he moved without his family to better support
them. Bread for the World sees immigration as a hunger issue. Hunger
and poverty push many immigrants to the United States, where often
continue to struggle with hunger because of their status. We are pushing
Congress to pass compassionate, comprehensive immigration reform.
