Dominic Duren, assistant director of the HELP Program, with his son Dominic Jr. in the
basement of St. Francis De Sales in Cincinnati, Ohio. The HELP Program is a ministry
of the congregation that assists men in their reentry after they are released from prison.
Bread for the World advocates for federal programs that help to keep returned citizens
from food insecurity because they are a group at greater risk of hunger.
