MORE IN OUR WORST
shaking, shivering,
a shattered mess
of tears and regret
foul feelings, fake friends
tried to make us think
that it was the end
the broken promises,
and disappointments,
have left quite a dent
but even though
they left a great sting
we still have one thing
we have always had
ourselves for sure
and with that, we can soar
and we can make
the biggest difference
and create the greatest gift
because we are more
than the tears
and the regret
we are more
than the foul feelings
and the fake friends
and we are more
than we are
when no one’s there
for we are always,
always more
even in our worst
even in our worst,
at life's hardest course
we are always more
….and more is always enough.
