I persevere,
And use all of my effort to escape this addiction,
But I am the iPhone junky who cannot withdraw.
I decide,
The best option is to disconnect.
I do not need to constantly know what is happening in the world,
Right?
The new me, with the amputated iPhone hand
Each day, I will focus on using the device less and less.
I have learned,
Social media is not a necessity.
It is,
An interference.
And,
I can do anything that I set my mind to.
I am the conqueror,
Who is severed from the social media entrapment.
I am my own heroic Odysseus,
Escaping from my obstacles and returning home to my Ithaca.
