REFERRAL AND COUNSELING
Aside from imposing a disciplinary measure commensurate to the action of the
student, necessary counseling shall be accorded to the student/s since the
School’s purpose is not to convict the students but to assist him/her to realize
his/her misbehavior. Through this, students shall be taught to stick up for
themselves and for others, feel more confident about themselves, strengthen
their bully resistance skills, and build their social skills. Bullies shall be taught how
to change their thinking, accept responsibility for their behavior, manage their
anger, explore positive ways to feel powerful, and understand why they bully
others.
Intervention. The Child Protection Committee shall determine the
appropriate intervention programs for the victim, the bully and bystanders.
