We provide early learning programming to children 3.5 to 5 years old and community supports to families living on a limited income. In 2013-2014, we provided Head Start programming, in 13 locations across Edmonton and serviced 468 children and families. Vision: Every child a successful learner. Every family a committed partner. Every community a strong supporter. Highlights and Program Results Over the course of the year, ABC Head Start families were offered unique and exciting opportunities to be included in their children’s learning process from day one to Head Start completion! We were able to offer enriched and diverse programming to multi-cultural families to create positive learning and life experiences; through hands on relevant training, support groups and educational information sessions. With the help of our excellent Teachers, Social Workers, Speech Language Pathologists, Special Needs Assistants, Educational Assistants and Home Educators, along with the assistance of volunteers, community partners, donors and supporters; ABC Head Start creates strong communities for the future! We are always here to help!
