Day 1 : Welcome to Adelaide On arrival at Adelaide Airport you will be transferred to your hotel ( flights to arrive prior to 9.00pm ). The rest of the day is at leisure . Hotel : Chifley on South Terrace ( R ) or Stamford Plaza ( S ), Adelaide , 2 nights .

Day 2 : The Barossa † Travel to the Barossa , South Australia ’ s premium wine region . Your first stop is TeAro Estate . You ’ ll be treated to wine tastings and morning tea sourced from the local café . Next stop is Maggie Beer ’ s Farm Shop ( seasonal ) where Maggie offers tastings and sales of her products . On arrival at Lambert Estate in Angaston , you ’ ll enjoy a wine tasting while sampling local seasonal produce from gourmet platters , followed by a main course , salad and vegetables . B L

Day 3 : Adelaide – Kangaroo Island Enjoy a scenic coach drive to Cape Jervis to board the ferry to Kangaroo Island . Visit Clifford ’ s Honey Farm to hear an informative talk by the beekeeper and get the chance to sample honey ice-cream . Next , travel on to Vivonne Bay Bistro for a delicious two-course lunch . Afterwards , walk among the nation ’ s most accessible colony of sea lions with a local guide at the popular Seal Bay Conservation Park . Day 4 : Kangaroo Island – Adelaide First stop is the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery , where you can test the fascinating products . Visit the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park to feed kangaroos . See koalas at Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary , and then enjoy a delicious twocourse lunch at Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat . Later , walk around the Remarkable Rocks and continue to Admirals Arch to see playful New Zealand fur seals resting on the rocks below . Return to Adelaide late evening . Day 1 : Auckland – Waitomo Caves – Rotorua Travel through the lush farmland of the Waikato and King Country regions . Enjoy a morning snack as you drive past Rangiriri , the location of a historic Maori Land Wars site . On arrival in the small town of Waitomo , tour with a local guide through the world-famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves with their amazing stalactites , stalagmites and other limestone formations . Finish with a silent boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto – a subterranean cavern lit by thousands of tiny glowworms . Later , travel on to Rotorua , the cultural center of New Zealand . Hotel : Copthorne Hotel ( R ) or Millennium Hotel ( S ), Rotorua , 2 nights .

Day 2 : Rotorua Sightseeing Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour around three of Rotorua ’ s iconic visitor attractions . Experience Te Puia , a place of Maori culture and a thermal wonderland of impressive geysers and boiling mud pools . Explore Rainbow Springs Nature Park , which showcases native flora and fauna . You may even spot a kiwi ! Then enjoy a demonstration of New Zealand ’ s agricultural industry with a sheep shearing display and sheep dog trials at the Agrodome Sheep Show . Tonight enjoy a unique Maori Hangi dinner and concert on a local Marae . B D

Day 3 : Rotorua – Auckland Spend a day at leisure in Rotorua . Late this afternoon travel through forests and lush Waikato farmlands on your way to Auckland . Hotel : Scenic Hotel ( R ) or The Langham ( S ), Auckland . B

Day 4 : Farewell from Auckland Your short break concludes this morning after breakfast . You ’ ll be transferred to Auckland Airport to connect with your onward flight ( flights anytime ). B
