Crocodile Cruise – Kakadu
Cruise on the Adelaide River, home
to thousands of crocodiles, then
travel into Kakadu National Park,
whose diverse landscapes are
home to a myriad of animals and
hundreds of bird species. Stop at
Bowali Visitor Centre, then continue
to Ubirr, where you’ll climb up
through the ancient Aboriginal
rock art galleries to the lookout
for a spectacular view over the
surrounding floodplains, woodlands
and rainforest. Hotel: Mercure

This morning you’ll be mesmerised
as you explore the renowned
Nourlangie rock art site, which
has provided shelter to Indigenous
people for millennia. Visit
Warradjan Cultural Centre for an
insight into the local Bininj culture.
Later, join your local guide for a
cruise on Yellow Water Billabong,
Kakadu’s most famous wetland
and home to saltwater crocodiles
and dozens of species of colorful
birdlife. This afternoon, travel to
Katherine. Final stop is Leliyn
(Edith Falls), whose pandanus-
fringed natural pool is suitable for
swimming throughout most of
the year (conditions permitting).

Day 3 Katherine –
Depart Darwin
Enjoy a morning cruise through
Katherine Gorge, where you’ll be
at its heart among freshwater
crocodiles, wonderful birdlife and
amazing scenery. Later, view the
displays at the Nitmiluk Visitor
Centre, where you may purchase
artefacts handmade by the Jawoyn
people. Return to Darwin, stopping
at historic gold mining town of Pine
Creek and the poignant Adelaide
River War Cemetery. Your Short
Break concludes this evening. B

Day 1 Arrive Perth
On arrival at Perth Airport,

Day 2 Perth – Fremantle
Take in the must-see sights of
Perth and Fremantle, starting at
Kings Park, the lush green heart
of the city and one of the world’s
biggest inner-city parks. Enjoy a
picturesque drive along popular
Cottesloe beach, then wander
the streets of historic Fremantle
with their cosmopolitan cafés and
faithfully-restored period buildings.
Relax on a cruise along the Swan
River, passing exclusive riverside
suburbs, the Royal Perth Yacht
Club and the University of WA. B
Day 3 Rottnest Island
Cruise along the Swan River to
Fremantle today before heading
to Rottnest Island. Located 19
kilometers off the mainland, this
car-free A-class nature reserve
is home to spectacular white
sandy beaches, secluded bays
and unique wildlife. You’re sure to
encounter a quokka! You’ll learn
about its colorful history on a
comprehensive circumnavigation
of the island, stopping at some
of Rottnest’s most spectacular
locations, including the Wadjemup
Lighthouse and the lookout at
rugged West End. After lunch,
there’ll be time at leisure before
re-boarding your ferry to Perth. B L
