– Kuranda
This morning visit Tjapukai,
Australia’s largest Indigenous
cultural park, in its spectacular

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway
through the breathtaking World
Heritage rainforest high above
the Barron Gorge National Park.
On arrival in Kuranda there’s
time to explore the ‘village in the
rainforest’, including the Heritage
Markets full of colourful and
interesting arts and crafts. Then
board the Kuranda Scenic Rail for

traveling to Hanson Bay for lunch.
Afterwards, look for koalas nestled
up in the eucalypts and see an
abundance of native birdlife in the
wildlife sanctuary. Then explore
rugged Flinders Chase National
Park, visiting the Remarkable
Rocks and Admirals Arch, a natural
nursery and haven for playful
New Zealand fur seals that can
be seen swimming and frolicking
in the waves or resting on the
rocks. Return to Penneshaw Ferry
