Day 1 Welcome to Auckland
After arrival in Auckland you’ll have some
free to explore the city. In the evening,
join your Travel Director and fellow
travelers for a Welcome Reception and

Day 2 Auckland
Start the day with a tour of the
highlights of this lively multicultural
city, stopping to visit lovely Queen
Street with its many heritage buildings,
and picturesque Viaduct Harbour.
Later, take a cruise on the sparkling
waters of Waitemata Harbour. B
Day 3 Auckland – Rotorua
Follow the meandering trail of the
Waikato River to the home of Lance and
Bridgette O’Sullivan, of New Zealand
horse racing fame, for a Be My Guests
experience, a traditional country-style
lunch at the Red Barn on their beautiful
Rainbow Springs Nature Park
Waikato farm.
A very personal and
exclusive cultural evening awaits you at
the Tamaki Māori Village. Experience
local customs like the Hongi greeting
as well as learn some traditional
words. Feast on succulent meats and
vegetables cooked in a Hangi, the
traditional Māori method of cooking in

Day 4 Rotorua – Christchurch
This morning, visit Rainbow Springs to
observe many species of New Zealand
fauna, including the iconic kiwi. From here
you’ll visit Te Puia thermal reserve with its

In the afternoon, fly to Christchurch,
