JARC (Jewish Association for Residential Care) will be launching the SNAP program (Safety Net Activity Program) for persons with intellectual disabilities and devel- opmental disabilities in high school and beyond. SNAP will be offered beginning November 1, 2011, Monday thru Friday from 2:30pm to 6:00pm at JARC’s Living & Learning Center located on the campus of the Jewish Federa- tion of South Palm Beach County. The target audience is a young adults, in transition, 18-22 years of age. The program will include skills building classes which will help participants with social skills, managing money and leisure activities. Set up begins at 7am with selling from 8am to 12noon. This event gives sellers the opportunity to unload unwanted items and keep the pro- ceeds.
