how i met my pet Karen & Jim Brailean with Rollo and Maxwell T he love for animals runs deep in the Brailean household. Karen and Jim Brailean, both are engineers are the proud parents of Rollo and Maxwell. They have built solid reputations for their talents but also for their good hearts. Dedicated to making our community a better place for all including pets, they founded TAGG the Pet Tracker. TAGG provides pet owners with the technology to energetic and loving dogs, Maxwell and Rollo. a pet’s life: How did Maxwell and Rollo come to join your family? Karen and Jim Brailean: Rollo, a white, 65 pound Labradoodle is 8 years old and Maxwell, a tan 95; pound Golden Doodle is 5 years old. Rollo is a rescue dog who is totally devoted to us. He follows us everywhere we go all day long. We got Maxwell when he was 12 weeks old. He was the biggest of the litter, playing tug of war with one stuffed animal and three siblings – and he was winning! Maxwell is the opposite of Rollo. He is big, clumsy and adorable. He plays tug of war with us and when we let go, he runs around so proud that he won! apl: What factors in your personal lives were important in selecting your pet? KJB: We really wanted a dog that did not shed, so a dog that was part poodle was very helpful for us. apl: Did you have to make any special adjustments to your home to help your pet? Jim and Karen Brailean with Rollo ensure safety, measure activity and express love for their pets using advanced GPS, an accelerometer and wireless technology to help people locate and track the activities of their pets. We sat down with them and they shared with us their love for their two 22 KJB: We put dog beds in several of the rooms; but other than that, our dogs fit right in. apl: What are the absolute strangest or funniest things that your pet does? KJB: When they were puppies, they both ate the drywall! Maxwell was especially enamored with the electric wall plates.
