Everyone, especially animal lovers,
will be enthralled with Disney World’s
Animal Kingdom. At the centre of this
laid-back park that has the essence of
travel to Africa, India and Asia, is the
intricately sculpted Tree of Life (above),
which expresses the balance of nature
with all living things. Themed musical
theatre performances, excursions like
the Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Mahara-
jah Jungle Trek, live animal zoo exhibits
from insects to elephants, plus an array
of fun and thrilling rides are there
for kids both young and old. Animal
Kingdom is great for a slower-paced day
to reconnect with nature.

DISNEY SPRINGS
After 5+ days at the Walt Disney World
Resort it may be time for a change of
pace in a completely different environ-
ment. Located adjacent to the park is
Disney Springs, the outdoor centre for
a relaxed fun-filled escape with world-
class dining options, unique boutiques
and fantastic shopping, plus some
dazzling entertainment. Getting here is
easy by car and includes free parking, by
bus and even by boat from select Walt
Disney World Resorts.
The ‘Characters in Flight’ sightseeing
ballon rises over 400 feet over Down-
town Disney, providing guests with an
inspiring view of the dining, shopping
and entertainment areas plus the always
beautiful Bay Lake.
