After 3 flights and 19 hours of travel, I
landed at one of the most beautiful is-
lands in the Caribbean. Puerto Rico has
always been on my personal wish list for
travelling. My wish was granted and this
time I was there to experience what this
stunning piece of paradise has to offer
couples seeking a romantic honeymoon
and/or a luxury destination wedding.

dulged myself to a tranquil ‘in-suite’

Ocean Front Bistro, and soon after I was
ready to start experiencing the Vander-

Condado Vanderbilt Hotel is nearly a
century old, located in San Juan’s presti-
gious district ‘Condado’ and only a 20
minute drive from the airport. As you
walk in to the lobby you are immerse in
the 20’s style of the sophisticated interior
décor, characteristic of the original
building, with a striking black marble
staircase and posh red velvet sofas. Soon
your personal butler greets you and

tailed attention to every need you may
have. The east tower pool lounge has three
smaller sized pools and an intimate
beach area, perfect to start your stay re-
laxing by the breeze-swept ocean, sip-
ping your favorite cocktail made with
Patrón Tequila and paired with a deli-
cious lunch from Tacos & Tequila
restaurant. The menu here
is designed by executive
chef Juan José Cuevas and
includes seven varieties of
‘mexican’ style tacos and a
selection of vegetarian
dishes, all made with the
most fresh, local ingredi-
ents.
The night of my arrival I could not wait
to take a peek through the window of my
