to fit employees’ professional and personal needs.
Consider working conditions. As employees
age, physical conditions may limit or change the
way they work. Are work stations ergonomically
correct? Are job requirements adaptable or
transferrable amongst employees?
Encourage cross-generational camaraderie through
workplace initiatives, mentoring and training.
Remember that shared life experiences—marriage,
birth of a child or grandchild, divorce, death of
a loved one—can happen to employees of all
ages. These experiences bring people together,
regardless of age.
