Secondly we asked them to work with a definition of ‘cultural
heritage’ that is used in The Faro Convention to determine if it
was useful to them. We also asked the group to develop a simpler
definition – one that we could use to explain the idea of ‘cultural
heritage’ to someone who was unfamiliar with the concept.
Finally to demonstrate that we are already doing work under this
framework, we asked participants to generate a list of precedents
that they think demonstrate the ideas we had talked about all day.
The list that the room generated was extensive and produced a
great catalogue of projects that could inspire us in our own work.
