The WALL
Location:
Vancouver, British Columbia
A collaboration between the Vancouver
Heritage Foundation, CBC Radio-Canada, JJ Bean Coffee Roasters, and the
City of Vancouver Public Art Program,
the WALL is a rotating art exhibit on
the redeveloped CBC building in downtown Vancouver. A platform for public
engagement and animation of the site,
this art wall exhibits pieces related to
the theme of Vancouver’s built heritage.
The current installation, down.town by
Faith Moosang, uses 164 film frames to
pose question regarding the buildings
in downtown Vancouver between 1954
and 2004.
