Saints in Schools Thousands of students across the Bayside, Frankston and Greater Dandenong region experienced a St Kilda visit throughout the year. The Saints went to over 50 schools and students were given the opportunity to play football with an AFL player and participate in discussions around leadership, goal-setting and healthy eating. Each visit gave students a well-rounded view of what it’s like to be an AFL player. I just wanted to praise the work that the gentlemen running the footy program have done at our College this year. Every time I have walked by and observed clinics they are running, I have seen the students being thoroughly engaged and immensely enjoying the program. This is mainly due to the attitude of the gentlemen and the rapport they have developed with the students. They are very positive and engaging leaders and have a lot of fun with the students.” JACK FRANKLIN Head of Student Engagement and Administration, Mt Hira College
