Next Generation Multicultural
Schools Program
Our Multicultural Schools Program reached 25 primary schools across the
western region of the Greater City of Dandenong and wider Bayside area.
The program was also introduced into high schools through an AFL skills
program for kids that have never previously played football.
The program culminated in a gala day with a number of the schools
competing in the Saints’ AFL 9s tournament.
Next Generation Koorie
Homework Club
Koorie Homework Club is a great support resource for Aboriginal and Torres
Straight Islander youth in the Frankston region where they are given the
opportunity to develop their education in an inclusive environment.
The Saints have a close connection with the club where we deliver some
football programs and engage with the children through fun physical activities.
Next Generation Sudanese
Homework Club
The Saints continued their connection with The Sudanese Homework Club.
The local Frankston group is an initiative which involves student mentors from
local secondary schools working with Sudanese youth, many of whom are
new Australians. Students are able to connect with the Sudanese community
through fun and engaging footy sessions delivered by the Saints.
