What is your most embarrassing moment, and to juxtapose this, what is your proudest most triumphant moment?

‘Crashing client’s bikes, only managed to do this once or twice. Once was the much-missed  Michael Czysz new C1 project when we were filming his documentary Birth of a Racer  for National Geographic, thankfully he laughed it off even though we only had one test bike, and once when I borrowed a guy’s bike who I was coaching in Jerez, showing off and sliding into T6, I managed to get it too sideways and flicked myself into the gravel. Lots of proud moments too, all pretty much as good as the other, NW200 wins, 250 GP win, podiums, 500 GP podiums, maybe the Assen win in 2001’.

What is on in your iPod, mp3, CD player or even your stereo at the moment?

‘Listening to Tuesdays Gone by Lynryd Skynyrd on Google home, it's the Happy Gilmore theme tune’.

And finally, describe yourself in four words!

‘Very easy going, usually’.
