ACE BUILDS SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED

The organisers of the UK’s biggest bike show, Motorcycle Live, have announced the 14 shortlisted machines in its Ace Builds custom showcase competition. Voting will now open to the public, with the four most popular machines going on display at Motorcycle Live at The NEC, Birmingham from 18-26 November.

Ace Builds is a UK-wide search for the best handbuilt and customised motorcycles.

The semi-finalists have been selected from the initial entries, by an expert panel consisting of Motorcycle News deputy editor Richard Newland, Built magazine and Classic Bike editor Gary Pinchin and Bike Shed founder Anthony “Dutch” van Someren. Ace Builds was open to all exhibiting manufacturer brands and the shortlist includes a wide variety of machines, from café racers to bobbers and scramblers.

The ‘Ultimate Ace Build’ will be decided by Motorcycle Live visitors, who will be able to vote for their favourite of the four finalists throughout the show. The owner of the winning machine will be awarded a special trophy, £1000 of vouchers and the chance for their bike to feature in a Motolegends catalogue.
