56'N SSDT Team GEARS UP for 2019
With the entries closed for the 2019 Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT) and the ballot to decide who will get the 270 places out of the 541 applicants we held our first full team meeting just before the New Year.
Our four riders; Allan Adamson, Neil Dawson, Graeme Wilson and Duncan Wood are all confirmed for the SSDT this year as part of our program to support local riders entries and increase awareness of the SSDT, Trial riding and the numerous local clubs around Scotland.
The team are getting their faces on, or at least they will be once the New Year is over and are already talking trainingm riding, nutrition and logistics for the SSDT.
We've also confirmed that the four bikes will be supplied by Scorpa (250cc). The
bikes will be delivered in early April ready for a few runs to get used to the bikes and also as a bit of team building with our two newer riders getting tips on how to make it through the week from their more experienced counterparts.
Our support crew, David and Conner Paton (from Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club) have had their roles confirmed and will be accompanying the team throughout the week in and around Fort William.]
These two are always busy helping out around bikes and that has shown this year with Connor winning a number of accolades locally and being invited by enduro legend Paul Bolton for training at his camp.
