BMW were never going to outplay Triumph with the British manufacturers history and experience in the retro and Scrambler range but they don't have.
The Motorrad guys have carved out a nice niche for themselves without having to go head-to-head against die-hard Triumph fans.
What they've done is take the retro desire in their current customer base and made sure they capture it before it heads off somewhere else looking for that nostalgic feel.
We think they've done it right, they've done it well and we'll be Scrambling on this RnineT for a while (unless BMW kindly donate a new one for longer term testing).
