A: a day away with my girlfriend she always brings me down to earth.
If you could meet one person living or dead for a dinner: who would it be and why?
A: David Jefferies, I just think the way he rode a bike was amazing, he grabbed it by the nuts and made it work, total legend.
Is your glass half empty or half full?
A: half full, always think the best of a situation.
If you were not racing, what do you think you would be doing for kicks?
A: I’ve been in young farmers since I was 15, when I’m not at work or racing I’m usually doing something with them, a great organisation for anyone to join and I’d recommend it to anyone!
What is your most embarrassing moment, and to juxtapose this, what is your proudest most triumphant moment?
A: I think trying to fly on a sledge and ending up being airlifted to hospital. I’m still trying to live that down! I think my proudest moment was seeing the look on my dad’s face after finishing my first race, I will remember that smile for the rest of my life
What is on in your iPod, mp3, CD player or even your stereo at the moment?
A: I love rock music, AC/DC or Airborne.. they are a favourite. but I can’t deny my secret love for a bit of Clubland.
