Away from the race track describe your perfect day?

A day out with Suzy, a few friends, with some live music and witty banter.

If you could meet one person living or dead for a dinner: who would it be and why?

Sigmund Freud as god only knows what goes on in my head, he might be able to unravel it.

Is your glass half empty or half full?

Always full.

If you were not racing, what do you think you would be doing for kicks? Anything competitive, running, mountain biking, I can’t sit still!

What is your most embarrassing moment, and to juxtapose this, what is your proudest most triumphant moment?

Being made to dance to Nellie the Elephant at a SACU awards dinner. I have no idea why, but it definitely wasn’t my finest hour. My proudest moment is getting back on a race bike and winning at Knockhill after a 28 year gap.

What is on in your iPod, mp3, CD player or even your stereo at the moment? Springsteen, Thunder Road and Born to Run

And finally, describe yourself in four words!

Competitive, analytical, stubborn, balanced.
