Scottish MotorSports: "We understand that clubs are at the very heart of our sport. For this reason, we are fully committed towards supporting their growth and development in order to continually showcase and strengthen the great work that they do.
In order to offer meaningful and targeted support to Scottish clubs we are launching a Focus Club selection process. This will see us work with up to eight focus clubs (four MSA and four SACU) in 2018, who will each benefit from the support of our National Development Officer to deliver a given project or initiative.
To ensure our resource is channelled into projects that will generate the most impact for the sport, we are now inviting clubs to apply for support. Applications launched in November and will close on Friday 12 January 2018. Full details can be found in the application form.
The main criteria for selection for this programme is the desire and capacity to grow club membership and a willingness to work in partnership with SMS and other local community organisations over a 1 year period. The programme is open to all MSA or SACU affiliated clubs throughout Scotland.
