56'N SPONSORS SCOTTISH RACING TALENT

2019 SEES IN INCREASE IN OUR INVOLVEMENT WITH MOTORCYCLE RACING IN SCOTLAND, NATIONALLY AND IN EUROPE

Motorsports are known to be expensive and in many ways that is restricts how far young talent can progress across a range of disciplines regardless of their overall potential.

Other that at the very top level internationally riders are required to bring money to a team, by way of sponsorship or their own personal funding, in order to secure a ride each season.

As you can imagine that puts an incredible strain on the future planning and potential of any young rider - and their family - trying to progress through a sport and is often where even the most talented riders fail to move forward.

With motorcycle sports in Scotland, and riders of all kinds currently being relatively low profile when measured against the major international competitions there is a need to boost this young talent and assist them obtaining the opportunities that can propel them forward and bring Scotland back onto the international stage at a level that was seen in the days of Steve Hislop, Niall Mackenzie, Donnie MacLeod, Iain Duffus, Brian Morrison and many others.

56'N are now sponsoring a number of young riders including Lewis Rollo, Jack Hart, Adon Davie as well as entering a team of four riders in the Scottish Six ~Days Championship (SSDT).

We are also sponsors at the Scottish Motorsports Academy (SMS Academy) where young riders are coached through some of the essential skills they need including managing their media profile, health, fitness, nutrition and racing skills.

Motorsports sponsorship was once limited to the biggest businesses out there but these days smaller companies are benefiting even more from it and at the same time helping to develop local talent. We would strongly encourage businesses to get more involved with local motorsports as a way of growing their customer base, increasing exposure and also giving a little back to a great community of people.
