Duncan: "The opportunity to ride in the SSDT is amazing. It's something I think every trials riders has wanted to do at some point and I'm really looking forward to it.

"It is a daunting event but it's a challenge I'm ready to take on.

"Some of the section might be above my current skill level but it's a case of taking them on one at a time and getting through it.

"With the support from Neil Dawson and Allan Adamson being in the team I'm sure we'll do well.

"I feel ready to take in on, I'm quietly confident but I will still be cautious and not throw away the opportunity due to an injury or breakdown from being reckless.

"I think fitness and stamina are going to be essential so I'm working on those now riding trials every weekend to improvie my overall bike fitness.

"I was also playing rugby but with the final games over I'll be switching more to riding to get ready ahead of the May start in Fort William."
