Dawson

Neil Dawson is a veteran of the Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT) having started and finished an incredible 26 times and taken on the role of back marker a further 5 occasions.

With a personal best finish of 26th place he’s also a 2-time Scottish Trials Champion, 3-times Scottish Twin Shock Champion, Scottish Sportsman Champion, and 3-time Scot Trials spoon winner.

Experience, oh yes, he has it!

Neil, along with Allan Adamson is our 2nd lead rider for SSDT 2019 and will be guiding our rookie riders, Duncan Wood and Graeme Wilson through the punishment that the course around First William can throw at them.

Neil first got into motorcycles at the age of 15 and has been riding trials ever since with the Dunfermline club.

He quickly moved into competitive trials riding and has been competing nationally ever since taking numerous championships and prizes along the way.

Taking on the SSDT 26 times and since then acting as back-marker is quite an achievement. Described quite positively by other competitors as ‘a beast of a rider’ Neil is known not only for his competitive nature but also for the enthusiasm and motivation that he brings to the sport competing and also guiding less experienced riders around trial events.
