We’re usually featuring other riders bikes and builds but this time it is one of our own. This build started off as a garage project over the winter or 2017-18 with myself and my father stripping the bike to the bare bones to get it ready to relive a life that the 80’s styling was aching for.

Originally a Moto Guzzi V65 Florida first registered in 1986 the bike was showing it’s 30 years but made the perfect foundation for a new build.

As is often the case time was short and the project ran over into 2019. When the bike showed up at my place in boxes in the back of a van the plan was hatched to customise the bike without my father knowing and get it back to him for his birthday. When we contacted JM Customs in Perth and pitched the idea to them they were quickly on board and with similar visions for the bike ‘Project X’ began.
